Cameroonian Lady celebrates healing from 11 years of HIV at Dua Nso Dua Herbal Center

A beautiful lady who hails from Cameroon recounts her story in an interview with Dr. Oheneba Ofori about her life with HIV for 11 years and later finding a solution at Dua Nso Dua Herbal Center.

She was feeling fever, loss of weight, running stomach and didn't know what was actually worrying her or the cause of her suffering. So she decided to visit a clinic and was told by the nurse that she has HIV upon a laboratory test that was carried on her. The nurse therefore told her that if she wants to confirm she can go to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for diagnosis.

At Korle-Bu she was confirmed of having HIV. The lady therefore decided to change her environment and move outside the country to avoid stigmatisation from people she knows. Therefore she informed her family about her diagnoses and packed all her items to go and live in Nigeria. At a point she felt like committing suicide. Since then she lived on medication for 11 years until 2023 where her husband was scrolling around TV channels where he found the content of DDTV interesting and decided to bring her to Dua Nso Dua Herbal Center for treatment.

The lady and her husband initially came to the Center for diagnoses of infertility, fibroid and later announced her HIV condition for treatment. She was taken through the Elekpekpe process at the herbal center and afterwards was asked to go and redo the test. The test results showed that the HIV was non-reactive. She was so happy about the news and thought how wonderful she has found her life back.

According to her, she likes the working environment of Dua Nso Dua Herbal Center since the place is very quite unlike other places where she had visited people always parrot-chat. She encouraged others with similar condition to visit Dua Nso Dua Herbal Center. Her last words were that “suicide is no attempt". People shouldn't attempt suicide when they are diagnosed of any ailment and more so since at Dua Nso Dua Herbal Center it is only death which has no solution.
